Sentecostals (Acts 8)

I hope your day went great today, and you are enjoying the beautiful weather on this memorial day weekend. I spent this afternoon at a local pool with my three kids, and it was glorious. I got a chance to talk with several people at the pool. One family I talked with had similar background. They had three kids & attended church. The conversation was smooth and easy.

Another group I talked with had a cooler full of Michelob Light and had successful worked their way through half. The conversation was a little more choppy, but I wanted to start building the bridge of relationship.

I was reflecting on what we talked about in this morning service. The ongoing evidence for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is evangelism.

In order for me to reach a people different from me, I need to look to the same power that guided Philip to Samaria in Acts 8. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the Baptism in the H.S.

If you are a guy on the go, a great way to read through the book of Acts is to purchase “The Listener’s Bible” and download it onto your ipod from www.audible.com.
