Rhoda is one of my heroes in Acts. The new Church was praying through the night for the release of the Apostle Peter who was on his way to be executed. I do not know how they were expecting God to move, but I can tell you they were not expecting Peter to show up at their door. Except Rhoda.
She knew it was him by “recognizing his voice” (Acts 12:14). God did exactly what they asked, and they did not believe it. Your heart has to be ready for God-sized miracles. He can break the chains of addiction in a life, restore marriages, and set people free from anger.
What are you spending intense time praying about? It may not be all-night like this group, but I hope you are praying intensely about something. Here is one of my prayer focuses.
I am praying for 400 people on the opening day for True Life Church on September 16th. When 400 people knock on our door in September, will we be ready to let them in?
