Flatland

One of the best little books I have ever read was “Flatland” by Edwin A. Abbott. The story is about a 2-D person, “flatlander”, discovering the world of three dimensions. In 2-D world there is not height, so a line is impassible boundary.

This weekend we are going to be talking about our Relationship with God. We all struggle with two dimensional relationships. Family, Friends, Co-workers, Neighbors, Work, Health, etc. While these relationships are important, they are two dimensional. They have a beginning and end. The place to start living missional lives is to be intentional with our relationship with God.

“Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you”
(Matthew 7:7)

What are you asking, seeking, knocking when it comes to your relationship with God?
