I remember the first transformer I have ever held in my little hands. It was a red Ferrari that turned into a robot. The transformer concept was BRILLIANT! You take something that is over-the-top cool, and you make it cooler. What could possibly make a Ferrari better? What if the car could become a robot? BRILLIANT!
God is continually in the business of turning bad in to good, and good into best! He can take a ultra right-wing, bigoted, hate-generating Saul and tranform him into left-leaning, grace giving, personal sacrificing Paul (Note transformation from Acts 8 to Acts 28). God can take a good guy like Abraham and make him Father of many Nations! The power of the Bible is not in the fact that it happened. It’s in the truth that it still is happening. God is still transforming us.
Heres is my prayer for transformation for us:
May we transform from going to church to becoming the church! BRILLIANT!
