Whistle While You Work..

If I could whistle, I would be whooping up that anthem from Snow White. A survey from the University of Chicago ranking the happiness of workers has found that clergy has the highest level of job happiness with 67.2%. The next highest is firefighters with 57.2% reporting job bliss.

The bottom of the barrel in job happiness is Garage and Service Station Attendants (13.2%) and roofers (14.2%). The heat index today is suppose to be 110 degrees today, so I can understand the roofer’s thoughts. The next time I fill up my car with gas, I think I will take an extra three seconds to say hello to the attendant worker. He probably doesn’t want to be there either.

Are you happy in your work? What do you look for in job satisfaction?

Genesis 2:2
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

This world started with work, and still runs on work.
