All you fans of American Idol type shows are probably way ahead of me on this story, but I just watched the youtube video of Paul Potts, the winner of the tv show “Britian’s Got Talent”. I have placed it at the end of this blog for you to watch.
One of the most important things a person can do is “find your voice.” Discover the areas of life you are passionate about, and then go after it with everything you have. I can not be an expert in all categories of Jeopardy or life, but I can take a few things I am passionate about and go after them.
A church is made up of people, and it is no different. TrueLife Church is not everything to everyone. We are a group focused on loving God, loving people, & loving life. As we grow, the depth of our sound will grow but we will be focused on this pragmatic approach to church.
Here is what is important:
- Our Sunday Morning Service has to walk with people on Monday Morning.
- Our Worship has to be engaging and directed toward heaven.
- Our small groups have to be interactive & inviting.
- Our children’s ministry has to safe, creative, interactive, and memorable.
Sometimes finding a new voice can be surprising and moving.
